Day 01 :

Arrival in Kigali International Airport – Kigali City

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional driver-guide and transferred to your hotel in the city. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy leisure moments to relax after your flight or explore the surroundings at your own pace. An overnight stay at Kigali Serena Hotel on bed and breakfast basis.

Day 02 :

Kigali City Tour - Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast, embark on a guided Kigali City Tour. Visit key landmarks including the Kigali Genocide Memorial, Kandt House Museum, local markets, and craft centers, offering deep insight into Rwanda’s history, culture, and remarkable transformation. After lunch, depart Kigali and drive north to Volcanoes National Park, enjoying scenic views of rolling hills and rural landscapes. Arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon for check-in, dinner, and overnight stay at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge

Day 03 :

Gorilla Trekking - Transfer to Akagera National Park

Enjoy an early breakfast before transferring to the park headquarters for gorilla trekking registration and briefing at 07:00 hrs. Meet your assigned gorilla family and begin the trek through lush montane forest, accompanied by experienced guides and trackers. The trek duration varies depending on Gorilla movements, with one unforgettable hour spent observing the gorillas in their natural habitat. After lunch at the lodge, depart Volcanoes National Park and drive east to Akagera National Park, Rwanda’s only savannah park. Arrive in the evening for dinner and overnight at Ruzizi Tented Lodge.

Day 04 :

Akagera National Park - Guide Game Drive - Departure

Explore open plains, woodlands, and lakes while searching for wildlife including elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, lions, and a wide variety of bird species. After the game drive, exit the park and transfer back to Kigali. Lunch en route or in the city, followed by transfer to Kigali International Airport for your onward departure flight.
