Day 1

Place: Dar es Salaam – Kigoma – Mahale Mountains National Park
Activity:
Early morning flight to Kigoma, road transfer to Lagossa/Mgambo Village, scenic boat transfer across Lake Tanganyika to Mahale Mountains National Park. Arrival at lodge, lunch, afternoon leisure on the beach or guided forest walk.

Day 2

Place: Mahale Mountains National Park
Activity:
Guided chimpanzee trekking with expert trackers. Afternoon leisure at the lodge with optional swimming, kayaking, birdwatching, or relaxation by the lake.

Day 3

Place: Mahale Mountains National Park
Activity:
Second chimpanzee trekking experience or guided forest hike. Afternoon relaxation followed by a scenic sunset dhow cruise on Lake Tanganyika.

Day 4

Place: Mahale Mountains National Park – Kigoma – Dar es Salaam
Activity:
